This Android application gives you the index of the air quality of the day, the day before and the forecast of the next day on the major agglomerations of the Aquitaine region: Bordeaux, Pau, Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz, Périgueux, Agen, ... as well as the details of these indices by polluting (ozone, suspended particles, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide).
The ATMO index characterizes the daily air quality of an agglomeration of more than 100,000 inhabitants on a scale which goes from 1 (very good index) to 10 (very bad index). For an area of less than 100,000 inhabitants we will speak of an index of the simplified air quality (IQA).

This project is on the initiative of Airaq- Air quality monitoring organization in Aquitaine. Created in 1995, it is the association approved by the ministry in charge of ecology for monitoring air quality in Aquitaine (AASQA). She is a member of the Atmo Federation. To monitor Aquitaine territory 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it has suitable measures stations, located in representative places of the different types of pollution and performs campaigns of itinerant and targeted measures.
