Travel With Your Rich Save Up For Nice Rewards by Traveling Outside Peak Hours.
Are you a student in Nijmegen and do you regularly travel to school via the Maaslijn?
With Reis je Rijk you save credits by traveling outside rush hour. These credits can then be exchanged for various rewards. This way you can save for a Spotify or Netflix subscription, or an H&M or Bol.com gift card.
That's how it works:
1. Turn on your Bluetooth when you start traveling. Beacons hang on the stations and on the trains. Via Bluetooth your phone can communicate with these beacons and you can check what time you have traveled exactly.
2. As soon as you get into the reach of a beacon at the station, you get a message on your phone: "You are near a Beacon. Are you on your way to school?". Open this message and confirm that you are on your way to school.
3. Then you get an overview of trains, buses and trams that leave in your area. Select the train with which you will travel here.
4. If you come back to a Beacon at the station station, you will get the message whether your trip has ended. Confirm this.
Note: The beacons are placed in the check in / check out posts from Veolia. If you do not receive the notification at the station, make sure you are near a Veolia Check in / Check Out Paal.
Continued use or GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
